Abdullah Qutb Shah (1626-72 CE), the 7th King of Qutb Shahi, issued specific type of copper coins. These coins were specifically referred to as ‘fals’.
On the obverse side is the legend reading ‘Qutama Bilkhar-e-Vassadath’ transliterated as ‘has come to an end well and auspiciously.’ It signifies the decline of the Qutb Shahi kingdom. The reverse side of the coin bears the inscription ‘Zuriba Darus-Saltanat Hyderabad’, indicating the coin’s making in the location of Hyderabad.
