Pulumavi coins, issued by the Satavahana ruler ‘Vasishthiputra Pulumavi’ (1st–2nd century CE), were mainly in lead or copper. They feature symbols like two-masted ships, highlighting maritime trade, as well as elephants with raised trunks and inscriptions in Brahmi script.
The coin was issued by the Satavahana King ‘Pulumavi’. Traces of an elephant with its trunk lifted up are present. Above the animal, a Brahmi legend is on the left. Reverse side has traces of some part of an X Ujjain symbol.
