Yajna Sri Satakarni was the last powerful imperial ruler known for his coins. His coins feature his portraits. The coin marks the Northern and Western territories.
The obverse showcases a bold, Indianized bust with elaborate hairstyle and large earrings. The presence of a Prakrit legend in Brahmi script reveal governance or trade ties with standardized linguistic groups. The coin bears the royal ‘Ujjain’ emblem, six arched hills, sun and moon on the reverse.
