Context
The Deccan Trap region is known for the prominent use of chalcedony in the making of microliths. This particular flake tool was discovered during an exploration at Uyjili, in Makthal Mandal of Narayanpet district, Telangana.
Description
This is a blade core made of translucent chalcedony, a type of stone that has been carefully shaped to produce long, narrow flakes known as blades. The blade core is the remaining piece of rock after the blades have been removed.
