The celt axe which is generally a core tool, is one of the earliest and longest-used ‘designed’ tools in human history according to the archaeological records.
This is an unfinished, chipped Neolithic celt axe made up of Amphibolite basalt (2000 BCE -1000 BCE) from the Khasi-Jaintia Hills, Meghalaya.
