The Context
The Celt, found at BNR Hills (locally known as ‘Tabelu Gundu’ or ‘Tortoise Rock’) in Hyderabad, features a crude cutting edge with flaking on one side and a plain surface on the other. An unpolished stone celt heads designed for attachment to a wooden shaft, primarily used for felling trees or shaping wood. While commonly associated with the Neolithic period.
