The painting depicts, a portrait of Hyderabad’s first Nizam, Asaf Jah.
I and dressed in green Jama with a gold border, a turban with gold jewellery and a wreath, a rosary in his right hand, and a sword in his left. He has a long beard and moustache. He fastened a golden Patka around his waist. He is in one-third position of his body, but his face is in profile, he stands near the balcony railing. The background is in the blue colour.
Preserving this exquisite artistic legacy necessitates conservation efforts, particularly due to damage evident in the background and corners of the painting.
