Digital Documentation of Deccani Miniatures
Pleach India Foundation has digitally documented 100 Deccani miniature paintings at the Telangana State Museum, Hyderabad. The project involves creating an inventory with descriptions, analyzing themes, colors, style, and context, and assessing their condition. Representing Qutub Shahi, Mughal, and other Deccani schools, this marks the first comprehensive study of these artworks at the museum, using non-intrusive technologies to suggest preservation measures.

British Residency, Hyderabad
Pleach India Foundation, in partnership with the World Monuments Fund, proudly contributed to conserving this iconic structure, inaugurated on 14.01.2023, now a key heritage attraction in Hyderabad. Collaborating with cultural associations, we host vibrant activities and, with support from the Department of Heritage Telangana, conduct offline Pleach Talks to share and celebrate India’s rich heritage.
