Our team examined the thousand-year-old ruins of the Gurajalamma temple near Pulipadu. Today, only the foundation remains, with traces of elephant sculptures on the maha mandapam steps and a heroic Valnati figure sacrificing his life before the arthamandapam. The image of Gurajalamma in the sanctum sanctorum is also fading.
As these remnants slip into obscurity, it is the collective responsibility of the locals to preserve, consolidate, and safeguard the invaluable heritage of these ruins.
