A lavish court scene unfolds in this Darbar of Qutub Shahi Kings.
King Qutb Shah sits regally on a golden throne, surrounded by nobles and servants identified by inscriptions in Urdu and Persian. Attendants holding flywhisks and golden parasols flank the king, while a vibrantly colored floral carpet covers the floor. Beautiful calligraphy adorns the top and bottom of the painting, completing this portrayal of the opulent Golconda court.
Preserving this exquisite artistic legacy necessitates conservation efforts, particularly due to damage evident in the background and corners of the painting.
