Findings

Buddhist panels were unearthed from the Gundlakamma River bed during sand mining by the villagers of Vennampalli. Palnadu limestone panels, measuring 1.40 x 0.95 x 0.13 mts and 1.55 x 0.55 x 0.14 mts, depict the worship of Dharma Chakra, reflecting the mature phase of Amaravati art.
