A scene from the court of Nizam Ali Khan.
The Nizam sits regally on a golden chair, adorned in white Jama with a golden belt and a sword. Several nobles surround him, some seated in front and behind on the same floor, others standing behind a gallery fence. All are dressed in white with turbans and some wear wreaths. A staff member attends to the Nizam with a fly whisk. Urdu and Persian script identify the figures, and the foreground features greenery and a fountain.
