Solo Art Show & Art Residency Prof. Sisir Sahana

The CCVA organized an exhibition of Paintings and Glass Sculptures by celebrated artist Prof. Sisir Sahana, who also conducted a workshop on Wash technique and Glass technique at the CCVA. Prof. Sisir Sahana’s artistic journey began with defying tradition. Despite his father's disapproval, Sisir's passion for painting burned bright. In 1982, he left his village home in West Bengal to chase his dream at the Kala Bhavan. This decision ultimately led him to become a leading glass artist in India.
