As a Computer Science graduate, I envisioned a career in structured logic and digital solutions. However, joining Pleach India Foundation as a WordPress Developer unexpectedly immersed me in India’s rich, often forgotten, heritage.
Initially, my role was purely technical: building and maintaining websites. Yet, Pleach’s mission to document and educate about India’s cultural past quickly captivated me. I found myself engrossed in the intricate details of ancient sculptures, temple architecture, and local art, seeing them not just as visuals but as living archives of our identity. Soon, I began to explore the stories behind the stones, the symbolism in design, and the social fabric of centuries-old communities.
This shift transformed my job into a passion. I began actively learning about Indian art forms and volunteering for heritage initiatives. Now, I see myself as a digital storyteller, using technology to bridge the gap between modern platforms and timeless heritage, blending design, code, and culture in all my endeavors.
