Not long ago, I visited a newly built temple near my town. It stood tall, adorned with intricate sculptures, yet something felt hollow. The carvings, though present, lacked depth—the finesse, the soul, the timeless magic that transforms stone into storytelling.

My experience at Pleach India Foundation introduced me to the breathtaking ancient temples. These were not just monuments but masterpieces—every inch a testament to devotion, passion, and patience.
Reflecting on my visit to the modern temple, I saw a stark contrast. Ancient artisans worked not for recognition but out of devotion, each chisel stroke a prayer, each carving a legacy for generations.

I feel that today, however, speed and scale have taken precedence over soul and sincerity. Technology has given us efficiency, but have we lost the essence?
