The Context
This quartzite core tool, displaying flaking marks on its surface, is a bifacial unfinished with a faceted butt and a roughly ovate shape, broad at one end and slightly pointed towards the other. The color is predominantly a variation of gray, but ranges to red, pink, yellow, and nearly white.
